Distribution Center Supervisor (Evening Shift)

What you will do

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of a distribution center department on the evening shift.
• Assign daily work, balance workloads, coordinate department operations, and enforce standard procedures.
• Train and cross-train associates, provide coaching and performance management, and support employee engagement.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments while maintaining department metrics and accountability.
• Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment, including participation in health and safety committees.
• Lead or participate in distribution center projects using tools such as 5S and Six Sigma.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Leadership, conflict management, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, organization, listening, relationship-building, and employee development skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, show urgency, take initiative, and provide practical solutions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
