Senior EMC Test Engineer (EMC)

Location: Santa Clara, California, USA; onsite laboratory and office work

Salary: USD 45.67–60.10 per hour

What you will do

• Generate accurate EMC test results according to CISPR, FCC, ISO, ETSI, IEC/EN, and applicable product and family standards.
• Operate and verify EMI receivers, antennas, LISNs, signal generators, and ESD, EFT, and surge generators.
• Review EMC test reports, complete project data sheets, and update METrak daily.
• Follow internal quality assurance, ethics, health, and safety procedures.
• Communicate with customers, provide guidance on regulatory and market requirements, and escalate project issues to leadership.
• Support scheduling, customer arrivals, conflict resolution, technical training, client meetings, and travel as needed.

Requirements

• Five years of experience with worldwide EMC requirements and CISPR, FCC, ISO, and IEC/EN standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and office-related tools.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
