Compliance Technician - EMC (EMC testing and product compliance): Performing electromagnetic compatibility tests and documenting results in a state-of-the-art test facility with an accent on applicable standards, equipment validation, and accurate technical reporting. Focus on troubleshooting test setups, supporting Product Compliance and R&D personnel, and improving testing processes and documentation.
Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite position
Salary: $35.00–$52.00 per hour

What you will do
- Perform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests and document results according to the quality system.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of standards and requirements for EMC testing.
- Validate and troubleshoot test equipment and test setups.
- Provide technical support to Product Compliance and R&D personnel.
- Identify, measure, and improve testing processes and documentation.
- Apply company quality, reliability, integrity, and manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- Two-year associate degree in electronic technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with EMC compliance test methods in an electronics development and manufacturing company.
- Hands-on experience with common EMC testing equipment.
- Testing experience with applicable IEC/EN/KN 61000, IEC/EN/KN 60255-26, IEEE C37.90 standards, or unintentional radiator standards including FCC Part 15B and CISPR 11, 22, or 32.
- Strong attention to detail and strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to learn new skills, work independently, and cooperate effectively in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Programming skills and experience with testing automation.
- Familiarity with EMC design mitigation methods and best practices.
