CEI Inspector Aide (Civil Infrastructure)

Location: Project site in Orlando, Florida, United States; local candidates preferred.

What you will do

• Conduct and document observations of civil infrastructure construction as work progresses.
• Monitor, record, and inspect construction project progress.
• Conduct or coordinate field materials sampling and testing.
• Perform concrete slump and air testing and cast concrete test cylinders.
• Perform in-place soil compaction testing and other assigned field duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret construction schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Visa sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Technical school or an associate degree.
• Some demonstrated experience in construction inspection.
• Local availability in the Orlando area.
