Commercial Construction Superintendent (Mission Critical)

What you will do

• Direct on-site project workflow and communicate priorities to site staff and subcontractors.
• Lead jobsite safety, administer safety procedures, coordinate inspections, and investigate incidents.
• Maintain project quality standards, daily logs, work orders, tickets, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with the project manager on schedules, installation sequencing, deadlines, and commitments.
• Organize site teams, temporary facilities and utilities, long-lead item expediting, and project resources.
• Build effective working relationships with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and the wider community.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Experience organizing people, tools, time, and other resources to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, interpret project data, manage priorities, and collaborate with varied stakeholders.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred; additional experience may substitute for a degree.

Nice to have

• Previous superintendent or project lead experience.
• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
