Talent Management Specialist (Workday)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid work between the office and home

Salary: $114,700–$194,900 USD annually, plus potential discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of enterprise talent and succession planning and performance management practices.
• Advise Talent Management leadership with analysis, recommendations, and subject-matter expertise.
• Translate strategic direction into practical frameworks, tools, operating guidance, and execution plans.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement, facilitate decisions, and provide direction to team members supporting talent programs.
• Partner with HR Technology and Workday teams to deliver user-centered solutions and effective change management.
• Establish success measures, monitor outcomes, and improve program effectiveness and business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, I/O Psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness, or human performance, including ownership of enterprise-scale programs or transformations.
• Strong consulting, critical-thinking, business-writing, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners without formal authority and operating effectively in ambiguity.
• Experience partnering with HR technology platforms such as Workday and integrating system design with talent practices.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.
