Associate Director, Enterprise Talent Management

Location: US - California - San Diego; hybrid

Base salary: $155,600–$233,400 per year, plus eligibility for variable cash programs and, where applicable, equity.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the enterprise talent philosophy, strategy, frameworks, governance, and roadmap.
• Own the design and continuous improvement of performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership assessment, and related practices.
• Establish methodologies, decision criteria, standards, roles, and governance mechanisms for consistent and equitable talent decisions.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to translate business and workforce needs into enterprise talent priorities.
• Lead cross-functional talent transformation initiatives spanning process, data, technology, communication, and enablement requirements.
• Use talent analytics, workforce insights, stakeholder feedback, research, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve effectiveness and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and typically at least 15 years of related experience, including 7+ years of management experience.
• 8+ years of progressive Talent Management experience in a complex global organization.
• Deep expertise in performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, and workforce planning.
• Experience developing enterprise frameworks, operating models, governance structures, and scalable talent methodologies.
• Strong strategic thinking, talent analytics experience, and the ability to lead transformation and influence without authority in matrixed organizations.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive consulting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading talent transformation in a global, high-growth, or highly matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and talent analytics or reporting.
• Exposure to leadership development and organizational effectiveness practices.
• Advanced degree or specialized training in HR or Talent Management.
