Application/System Engineer I

Location: East Providence, Rhode Island, USA. Office and laboratory-based role with approximately 25% travel.

What you will do

• Attend customer and sales meetings to understand application needs and provide preliminary equipment recommendations.
• Perform dispensing application trials and prepare test reports covering results, settings, equipment lists, and related notes.
• Support customers with installation, training, troubleshooting, and technical product questions in person and virtually.
• Provide technical support and product training to worldwide sales groups, including at customer meetings and trade shows.
• Coordinate resolution of customer-impacting quality and manufacturing issues with engineering, customer service, sales, R&D, and Quality Assurance.
• Contribute to product manuals, technical support materials, training tools, and new product development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience in a technical sales-facing and application support environment.
• Experience supporting the EFD product line and TTA platform programming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, and adaptation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in office and laboratory environments and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds.
