Quality Inspector II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Complete and record quality inspection and rework instructions for parts in the inspection area.
• Perform mechanical, functional, and electrical inspections against documented drawings and critical parameters.
• Document inspection results and disposition inspected items as accepted or rejected.
• Review quality alerts, corrective actions, and containment activities, ensuring inspection and rework instructions are followed.
• Support root-cause analysis, permanent corrective actions, and error-proofing measures.
• Generate supplier quality notifications and perform first-article inspections of purchased parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or assembly company.
• English proficiency sufficient to read, write, and speak English and execute inspection plans.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use calipers, comparators, gauge blocks, and other measurement tools.
• Basic understanding of GD&T tolerancing and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, multitask, communicate effectively, and perform light assembly.

Nice to have

• Certified Quality Inspector or Quality Technician certification.
• SAP experience and familiarity with standard ERP systems.
• Powdered Material Handling Vehicle license or previous certification.
