Traveling Lead Electrician / Field Systems Technician

Location: Texas, DFW Area, Farmer's Branch; 75% nationwide travel across the United States

What you will do

• Lead on-site electrical installations, system integrations, and service work nationwide.
• Wire, connect, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, CCTV, mobile surveillance trailers, solar power units, network infrastructure, and electrical components.
• Review proposals, technical diagrams, and site plans to create field execution strategies.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor Level 1, Level 2, and junior field technicians.
• Coordinate subcontractors, electrical trades, and internal crews while serving as the primary on-site technical authority and client contact.
• Manage inventory, equipment staging, RMAs, warehouse organization, vehicle checks, and mobile trailer maintenance.

Requirements

• Active Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred, or an equivalent transferable state license.
• 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% across the United States.
• Experience with low-voltage systems, CCTV, controls, or solar power is preferred.
• Proficiency with digital field management software, project tracking tools, and basic networking.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; background checks and role-specific testing may be required.
