What you will do

• Assist technicians with installing low-voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, network cabling, audiovisual, security, and life safety systems.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and system diagrams.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards on job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and organized work areas.
• Participate in ABC program apprenticeship training and collaborate with project teams and supervisors.

Requirements

• Be at least 17½ years old; candidates under 18 require a legal guardian signature.
• Have a high school diploma or GED and qualifying algebra coursework.
• Provide a Social Security Card, valid driver’s license, and K4 DMV driving record.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass the TABE aptitude test with a minimum score of 70%, an oral interview with a minimum score of 80%, and ABC SoCal orientation.
• Lift more than 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
