Field Application Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Bangalore, India; full-time on-site role with 25–50% domestic and international travel

What you will do

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, consultations, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements, challenges, and objectives.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge-transfer sessions for customers, sales teams, and partners.
• Develop and maintain user documentation, application notes, and technical collateral.
• Support sales discussions, presentations, and proposal development.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site support, training, meetings, and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as field application engineering or technical consulting.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software systems, including embedded systems, networking, and software development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
