Transmission Team Lead

Location: United States — Saint Louis Park, Minnesota; Minneapolis, Minnesota; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Salary: $115,469–$164,955 annually in Minnesota, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead section operations, including staff development, morale, quality control, and performance management.
• Serve as a technical leader and project manager on transmission projects.
• Plan, organize, manage, and execute work through workplan development and utilization monitoring.
• Coordinate administrative and technical services with internal teams and national leadership.
• Support marketing planning, proposals, client management, business development, and workshare initiatives.
• Lead or support projects as a client lead and quality control reviewer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience.
• Comprehensive experience with transmission line design, including PLS-CADD, structure analysis, cost estimating, optimization, specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency with NESC and an understanding of client standards.
• Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Professional registration, license, or certification may be required depending on the role.

• Experience with project management responsibilities or leading client pursuits.
