Airport Services - Maintenance Repair Tech I - RDU Airport (RDU)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on PLC-controlled baggage conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system problems and complete repairs.
• Respond to maintenance calls, system outages, and emergencies within 10 minutes when required.
• Enter accurate maintenance information into the computerized maintenance management system.
• Follow company safety programs and complete required training.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability for day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors on an airport ramp, around aircraft and heavy equipment, and in confined baggage-conveyor areas.
• Ability to climb, perform ladder work, work in small spaces, and regularly lift or move up to 49 pounds.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of maintenance operations experience.
• Industrial electrical experience with three-phase motors and 480V systems.
• Intermediate understanding of PLC control systems and ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency and familiarity with airport operations.
