What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex transportation engineering projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary roadway, drainage, traffic, structures, and utility teams.
• Develop and negotiate project scopes, budgets, schedules, proposals, contracts, and staffing plans.
• Oversee technical deliverables, QA/QC reviews, constructability reviews, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Build long-term client relationships and represent the firm before clients, agencies, boards, and community stakeholders.
• Lead transportation pursuits, pricing strategies, client interviews, mentoring, and firmwide improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state or states required for project work.
• At least 6 years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining client relationships.
• Experience mentoring staff and supervising teams of approximately 5–7 employees.
• Strong business development, communication, leadership, and prioritization skills; availability Monday–Friday with overtime flexibility as needed.
