Associate Enterprise Security Architect (AI Security)

Location: Plano, Texas office, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture standards, patterns, reference architectures, and designs.
• Build the Enterprise Security Architecture framework using the SABSA methodology under the direction of a SABSA-certified architect.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews and define reusable security requirements and controls across teams, products, and platforms.
• Support security roadmaps covering Zero Trust, IAM modernization, logging and detection, cloud security, and AI security.
• Contribute to governance, risk exceptions, architectural decisions, vendor evaluations, compliance mapping, metrics, and reporting.
• Document architecture standards and communicate them to Enterprise Architecture, Security Engineering, IT, Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations, Privacy, and Risk/Compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in information security, security engineering, IT, systems engineering, or a related technical field, including 2 years in Enterprise Architecture.
• Working knowledge of IAM, network and endpoint security, vulnerability management, encryption, logging and monitoring, and data protection.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security concepts, shared responsibility, cloud baselines, and guardrails.
• Experience designing and implementing AI security controls for enterprise environments, including GenAI, agents, MCP, and RAG-related controls.
• Ability to translate security risk into clear requirements and actionable guidance, with strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Understanding of NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, OWASP, PCI DSS, and SABSA Enterprise Security methodology.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zero Trust programs, segmentation, enterprise IAM modernization, GRC processes, or enterprise AI security.
• Security architecture modeling or diagramming experience with C4, ArchiMate, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Experience evaluating and designing security solutions.
• SABSA Foundation, CCSP, Security+, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP Associate, or security vendor certifications.
