Cybersecurity Architect (AI/GenAI)

What you will do

• Develop enterprise security architectures aligned with NIST CSF, SP 800-53, SP 800-171, and SP 800-207.
• Design secure, scalable solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Lead architecture and security reviews for technologies, applications, and systems, identifying weaknesses and defining risk mitigation strategies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure blueprints, controls, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Maintain security architecture standards, policies, reference architectures, and control frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements including CCPA, NYDFS, and PCI DSS.
• Provide cybersecurity architecture expertise, mentor junior architects and security engineers, and communicate risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years in security architecture or a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of NIST frameworks, Zero Trust Architecture, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and application security.
• Experience designing and reviewing secure enterprise and cloud architectures, including AWS or Azure.
• Practical experience validating control effectiveness through testing, monitoring, evidence collection, or audit support.
• Strong understanding of LLM, AI, and GenAI solutions, including agentic AI and MCP hardening.
• Experience working in regulated environments, aligning technical controls with compliance frameworks, and documenting and communicating complex security topics.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, SABSA, or AWS Certified Security certification.
• Experience with security automation, policy-as-code, control orchestration, or continuous control monitoring.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code security, and cloud-native enterprise environments.
