Architect III - Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own security solution architecture for assigned products and platforms within the Security domain.
• Develop and maintain security standards, reference architectures, design patterns, diagrams, and other architecture artifacts.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure architecture blueprints and document design decisions and analysis.
• Participate in architecture governance forums and review solution designs for alignment with approved standards, security posture, and regulatory requirements.
• Track emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies, evaluating tools and services for adoption and integration.
• Advise business, product, IT, agile, and DevOps teams on secure design principles, risks, opportunities, and technical debt.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of security domains including IAM, network, application, cloud, data, and AI, with depth in at least two areas.
• Hands-on experience designing secure cloud architectures, particularly with Microsoft Azure; AWS experience is also acceptable.
• Experience with threat modeling, CASB solutions, data governance and security, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, and CI/CD security integration.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and standards, including FFIEC, PCI DSS, and SOX.
• Security architecture certification such as CISSP, CCSP, or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert; up to 25% travel may be required.

• Previous leadership experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of financial services or banking.
• Advanced architecture experience across application development, cloud compute, storage, networking, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, containers, automation, and security.
• Experience supporting product management, agile, and DevOps teams.
