Fund Administration & Oversight Analyst (Asset Management)

Location: Pasadena, California, United States; hybrid working model with in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.

Annual salary: $80,000–$95,000, depending on location and relevant experience, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Monitor service-level quality and oversee work performed by custodians, fund administrators, transfer agents, and other third-party providers.
• Develop and perform controls for mutual funds, including oversight of cash, derivatives, net assets, performance, and other reconciliations.
• Prepare accounting reports and analysis for internal and external clients.
• Manage subscriptions, redemptions, trade order instructions, and daily multi-currency cash management activities.
• Coordinate year-end audits and monthly closing of fund accounting records.
• Address stakeholder inquiries, manage risk, and participate in business process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in asset management or related financial services.
• Experience in fund administration, with strong accounting, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of complex fixed-income investment products and mutual funds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Nice to have

• Programming knowledge or experience with Python, Alteryx, Tableau, or other data analytics and reporting applications.
