Fund Management, Analyst

Location: New York, New York; hybrid in-office model with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week for most roles

Base salary in New York: $72,000–$88,000 per year, plus performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Support daily operations for single-investment and fund-of-funds vehicles, including transactions, capital calls, distributions, cash movements, and other fund lifecycle events.
• Monitor underlying investments and coordinate processing with fund managers, administrators, custodians, and internal teams.
• Assist with cash and portfolio reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end activities, investor reporting, and fund accounting deliverables.
• Maintain fund data, operational trackers, process documentation, controls, and management reports.
• Apply and test AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, analyze data, prepare documentation, and reduce manual work.
• Support additional fund management, accounting, and strategic projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, financial services, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of investment operations, fund structures, reconciliations, or accounting principles.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with close attention to data accuracy and detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with internal teams and external service providers in a fast-paced environment.
