Proposal Manager, Justice + Civic

Location: Hybrid, based in one of the specified U.S. locations: Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Overland Park, Minneapolis, Omaha, Phoenix, Riverside, or Sacramento. The work model includes four days in the office, with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

What you will do

• Manage multiple concurrent pursuits from RFP receipt through interview completion, ensuring on-time and brand-compliant delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary pursuit teams and coordinate designers, project managers, client leaders, and creative services.
• Develop win themes and synthesize complex information into persuasive responses to client needs and RFP requirements.
• Edit proposal content, conduct quality-control reviews, and maintain professional brand standards.
• Coach project teams on presentation best practices and support shortlist, win-rate, ROI, and conversion goals.
• Maintain pursuit materials, record project and people information in Deltek Vantagepoint, and collaborate with graphic designers on custom visual assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience creating, writing, and editing proposals in a professional services environment, preferably AEC.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, and Microsoft tools including PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strong project and people management, critical thinking, prioritization, editing, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring work visa or residency sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint and database-based information gathering.
• Experience leading pursuits for Fortune 500 companies, hotel brands, and commercial real estate developers.
• Experience with SF330s and RFQ/RFP responses for government and public-sector entities.
