Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, with a hybrid work model. Positions in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York require regular office attendance. Candidates must be independently eligible to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: USD 106,000–130,000 per year for positions in Phoenix, AZ and Chicago, IL; USD 128,000–156,000 per year for positions in San Francisco, CA. Additional discretionary incentive plan and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Lead infrastructure-as-code projects and build tools for reliable, repeatable cloud deployments.
• Design APIs and abstractions that simplify AWS, Kubernetes, and internal infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerized applications.
• Design cloud infrastructure for robustness, security, scalability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across multiple layers and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Support workflow pipelines, data center operations, monitoring, alerting, and on-call activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience, including prior DevOps or software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications and experience.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Strong AWS knowledge across compute, networking, storage, observability, and security, including EC2, IAM, ELB, Route 53, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Linux administration, scripting, networks, DNS, HTTP, TLS, load balancing, and security protocols.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and able to participate in an on-call rotation.
