Coater Operator

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States; onsite day shift with a rotating 6 a.m.–6 p.m. schedule and every-other-weekend rotation

What you will do

• Set up and operate coating machines according to operating and setup documentation.
• Verify raw materials, coatings, base stock, quantities, and running conditions against work orders.
• Mix chemicals according to ISO instructions and complete accurate production paperwork.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and repairs, and report equipment or material issues to shift leadership.
• Maintain white room and cleanroom conditions through machine cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Stage production materials, monitor operating inventories, and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand basic documents and written, oral, diagram-based, or schedule-based instructions.
• Ability to perform measurements and calculations involving rates, ratios, percentages, and charts.
• Knowledge of quality principles and their application to internal quality programs.
• Mechanical aptitude, analytical ability, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, manage time, make decisions, and work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification.
