Mill/Mixer Operator - 3rd Shift

What you will do

• Run ink batches using proper mill settings and mixer procedures.
• Weigh and mix batches, discharge pigments, and safely operate mixers.
• Operate and maintain Hockmeyer mills, press-out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts.
• Package finished products, apply labels, perform canning, and support repacks.
• Clean and maintain equipment according to TPM standards, complete scheduled maintenance, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Provide ink samples to Quality Control, make ink adjustments, record production data, and maintain formula databases.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 months of related work experience.
• Basic math and computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, good attendance, and flexibility to work overtime and the assigned third shift.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance experience and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Forklift experience; training is available.
• Experience with mixing, mills, or pump filter equipment.
• Previous experience in the ink industry.
