Mill Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Edwardsville, Kansas, USA; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Run ink batches using mills and mixers at the required settings and follow process orders and operating procedures.
• Package finished products, apply labels, perform canning, and assist with repacks.
• Operate press-out units, pump filters, and forklifts while maintaining safe and efficient equipment operation.
• Clean, maintain, troubleshoot, and complete scheduled maintenance according to TPM standards.
• Create and maintain formula and processing-time records.
• Provide ink samples to quality control, make ink adjustments, and record production data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 months of related work experience.
• Good math, basic computer, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, with flexibility to work overtime and the assigned shift.
• Ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams and apply autonomous maintenance practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required; post-offer drug screening, physical, and background check required.

Nice to have

• Forklift operating experience.
• Background in mixing, mill operation, or pump-filter industries.
