Oncology LPN - Gyn/Onc

Location: West Cancer Clinic, Tigard, Oregon, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: $26.41–$44.59 per hour

What you will do

• Provide general nursing care for outpatient gynecologic oncology patients and support the interdisciplinary care team.
• Screen patients, collect vital signs and medication information, maintain records, and report patient conditions and treatment reactions to providers.
• Administer wound care, bladder scans, void trials, IV fluids, and IV therapeutic medications in accordance with applicable nursing standards and regulations.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, including equipment preparation, EKGs, and oximetry readings.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, medications, treatment instructions, and recovery expectations.
• Coordinate referrals, orders, medical records, telephone inquiries, and escalation to an RN when required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a practical nurse.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a current LPN license and registration in the practicing state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association-accredited BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to work onsite in Tigard, Oregon, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
