Logistics Transportation Analyst

Location: Vista, CA, United States

Salary: $68,000–$78,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and execute weekly and daily transfers of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, semi-finished goods, and finished goods between warehouses and manufacturing locations.
• Review Stock Transfer Requisitions in SAP, convert them into Stock Transport Orders, and build and organize truck shipments.
• Coordinate finished-goods movements to regional distribution centers and third-party logistics providers.
• Act as the primary point of contact across Production, Warehousing, distribution centers, 3PL providers, carriers, and Distribution Requirements Planning.
• Monitor on-time delivery, freight cost, and inventory accuracy metrics while proposing solutions to material availability risks.
• Support SAP inventory transactions, Stock Transport Order processing, material master data issues, compliance documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, SAP, DRP, material planning, inventory control, production scheduling, or warehouse coordination.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to calculate requirements from bills of materials and production schedules.
• Detail-oriented organization, accurate record-keeping, and effective cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to follow cGMP, SOP, warehouse safety, and OSHA requirements.

Nice to have

• APICS CSCP or CPIM, Lean Six Sigma, or project management certification.
• Experience in the food, supplements, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of FDA requirements.
