Service Parts & Logistics Analyst

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Collect, clean, validate, and interpret logistics and transportation data covering shipments, freight rates, carrier performance, inventory, and lead times.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards for cost analysis, route and mode evaluation, and scenario planning.
• Support network optimization through SLA management, shipment consolidation, capacity planning, and basic modeling.
• Analyze service issues, identify root causes, and present recommendations to managers and operations stakeholders.
• Monitor freight spend, error rates, cost per shipment, and other KPIs to identify trends and anomalies.
• Develop forecast simulations and perform ad hoc analyses to support planning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, business analytics, or consulting; internships may count.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and basic data modeling.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Exposure to import or domestic shipping operations.
• Experience with project management tools or methodologies.
• Professional logistics certifications such as CSCP or CLTD, or progress toward one.
• Exposure to logistics software such as TMS or WMS.
