Director, Outcomes and Strategy (Healthcare)

Location: Remote or hybrid, based in Monroe, New Jersey, United States; approximately 10% travel for project-related work and office-based meetings.

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year, depending on qualifications, with eligibility for an annual bonus program or commission incentive.

What you will do

• Develop and apply quantitative and qualitative approaches to assess educational impact across accredited and non-accredited programs.
• Analyze outcomes data, learner feedback, and qualitative insights to identify trends, practice gaps, and emerging needs.
• Translate research findings into clear narratives that inform educational design and future programming.
• Conduct needs assessments and monitor changes in clinical practice, policy, and care delivery relevant to pharmacy and managed care audiences.
• Provide analytical and strategic input for portfolio planning, program optimization, and initiative differentiation.
• Communicate insights and recommendations across medical, editorial, education, outcomes, operations, marketing, and business development teams.

Requirements

• Advanced degree required, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, RN, MPH, or equivalent.
• Experience in outcomes research, educational research, health services research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and educational design.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, including experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Ability to work effectively in an evolving environment with changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Board certification in a subspecialty.
• Healthcare and clinical practice experience, particularly with pharmacy or managed care audiences.
• Experience with accredited CME/CE education and commercially supported initiatives.
• Experience in research design, questionnaire development, and analysis.
• Proficiency with AI-powered tools and platforms such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, or Copilot.
