Director of Strategy & Analytics (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL; candidates in the Chicagoland area preferred. Candidates from other markets may be considered if they have proven success working in a fully remote environment.

Base annual salary: $146,810–$203,084 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead a small team of analytics professionals analyzing operational trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Perform hands-on analyses and present actionable recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Define and challenge key performance indicators, and lead stakeholder dashboards and executive reporting.
• Partner with Product and Operations on tests, experimental design, and communicating results to senior management.
• Work with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to maintain data integrity.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional experience in marketing, product, strategy, or business analytics.
• Proven success addressing marketing, product, or business challenges through data-driven analysis and delivering measurable results.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, STEM, or another analytical field.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, dataset manipulation, data visualization, and presentation.
• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing work, delegating effectively, and executing rapidly.
• Prior experience in strategy consulting, financial services, or startup environments.
