Location: US Remote

Salary: $157,000–$218,000 USD annually. An additional compensation range of $191,800–$239,800 USD is also listed.

What you will do

• Lead the development, validation, and application of budget impact, cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, ROI, decision-tree, Markov, and partitioned-survival models.
• Integrate HEOR objectives into clinical studies, including resource utilization, economic endpoints, patient-reported outcomes, quality of life, and cost-data collection.
• Analyze clinical-trial, observational, and real-world datasets covering costs, treatment pathways, diagnostic utilization, comparative effectiveness, survival, and quality-adjusted life years.
• Lead publication strategies and develop manuscripts, abstracts, conference materials, white papers, technical reports, and executive communications.
• Translate evidence into payer value propositions, budget-impact summaries, value dossiers, reimbursement materials, and health-system economic tools.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Biostatistics, Market Access, Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, Business Development, investigators, KOLs, and external research partners.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Pharmacy, Health Services Research, or a related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of HEOR experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, consulting, academia, or a related healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing economic models and conducting outcomes research using clinical-trial or real-world datasets.
• Experience with payer evidence generation, reimbursement strategy, value dossiers, market access initiatives, and scientific publications.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international reimbursement environments and HTA frameworks, including ICER, NICE, CADTH, PBAC, and IQWiG.
• Familiarity with Excel, TreeAge Pro, R, SAS, STATA, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and statistical analysis software is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, companion diagnostics, ctDNA, MRD, dd-cfDNA, next-generation sequencing, biomarker-guided treatment, or oncology diagnostics.
• Experience adapting HEOR strategies for Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, and other international markets.
