Water / Wastewater Construction Project Manager

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, with travel within Minnesota depending on assigned project locations.

Estimated pay: $87,000–$185,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage water and wastewater construction projects, generally up to $15 million or designated components of larger complex projects.
• Lead project delivery with the Superintendent, covering safety, quality, budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade contractor coordination.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, project plans, and constructability and cost-feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate design teams, owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and weekly site progress meetings.
• Manage procurement, submittals, fabrication and delivery status, close-out documentation, warranties, and final acceptance.
• Control cost codes, budgets, cash flow, payment applications, cost projections, profitability analysis, and quality compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field plus 6+ years of experience running construction projects with contract values over $5 million; alternatively, an associate’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, project management software, value engineering, life cycle costing, and project profit and cost processes.
• Experience with multiple contract types and CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel within Minnesota and work in various, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.
