Senior Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri, United States; onsite construction-site work required

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annual

What you will do

• Manage water and wastewater facility renovations and new construction from early design through inspection, startup, close-out, and the warranty period.
• Develop capital budgets, master schedules, scopes of work, and project management plans.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs and coordinate survey, design, construction, and QA/QC services.
• Lead permitting, regulatory approvals, contractor selection, and complex design and construction contract administration.
• Lead the onsite Construction Management team, including field inspections, contract administration, and materials testing.
• Oversee budgets, multiple construction contracts, project reporting, stakeholder presentations, and warranty follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing design and construction of capital improvement projects, preferably in water/wastewater infrastructure or similarly complex facilities.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification required, with exceptions possible for exceptional candidates.
• Proficiency with web-based construction document management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong relationship-building, conflict-resolution, collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, fluent in written and spoken English, and able to safely navigate active construction sites.
