Electrical Controls Engineer (PLC/SCADA)

What you will do

• Develop electrical control systems for automated harness assembly machinery.
• Program and support PLC, SCADA, automation, and vision systems for wiring processes.
• Manage priorities, resources, CAPEX budgets, and multiple equipment-launch projects.
• Develop specialized automated processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
• Ensure equipment, tooling, traceability systems, and documentation meet customer, OEM, and internal requirements.
• Develop training plans, support plant launches, and help production sites become self-sufficient.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• High-level PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley, Proface, Siemens, Delta, or comparable platforms.
• Mid-to-high-level SCADA experience and knowledge of electrical control system design.
• Experience with machinery troubleshooting, safety standards, procedures, project budgets, and continuous improvement.
• Advanced communication, teamwork, leadership, and project coordination skills.
• Medium-to-high spoken and written English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Structured programming language experience.
• Experience with Cognex Insight, Keyence CVX, Marker Builder, IV2 Navigator, or IV3 Navigator.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Modbus, MQTT, IO-Link, and other industrial communication protocols.
