Manufacturing Controls Engineering (Controls/Robotics)

Location: Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico; onsite full-time. Requires changing shifts on a 4x3 schedule.

What you will do

• Execute new manufacturing programs, including SOR preparation, forecasting, controls and robotics design, equipment build, run-off, and buyoff.
• Design, construct, integrate, install, launch, and continuously improve plant production systems.
• Design and troubleshoot electrical controls systems using PLCs, HMI, industrial networks, robots, and vision systems.
• Manage deliveries against program milestones and provide project reports to senior management.
• Support existing programs and sites through troubleshooting, technical direction, and advanced process technology development and testing.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities while supporting daily shop productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 4 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
• Knowledge of PLCs, FANUC robots, vision systems, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Advanced English required.
