Maintenance Technician (PLC)

Location: Onsite in Cuautitlán, Mexico. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without restriction.

What you will do

• Maintain plant machinery, auxiliary equipment, facilities, and electronic control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and industrial control equipment failures.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, VFDs, HMIs, and other control systems, preferably Siemens.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, daily maintenance routines, inspections, and 5S activities.
• Manage work orders, maintenance logs, spare-parts requests, and shift handovers.
• Follow quality, safety, electrical safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, Electrical, Maintenance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electronics, automation, or a related field.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferably Siemens.
• Knowledge of drives, VFDs, HMI systems, industrial control systems, sensors, and control devices.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance and industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
