Charlotte Technology Consulting Intern - 2027

Location: Charlotte, United States; hybrid work with in-person work in the local hirify.global office and on client sites. Interns must be available in the designated location during business hours for the full internship. Local or out-of-state travel may be required based on project and client needs.

What you will do

• Collaborate with consulting teams to deliver client-focused technology solutions across multiple industries.
• Support business platform transformation, including application strategy, development, program execution, and cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze and manage data through data engineering, governance, visualization, data science, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
• Contribute to Microsoft modernization and collaboration initiatives tailored to client needs.
• Support cybersecurity, privacy, technology risk, resilience, strategy, and architecture engagements.
• Participate in hands-on projects, internal initiatives, training, and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technology, data, engineering, mathematics, or information systems discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future is required.
• Expected to be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot or generative AI.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
• Technical proficiency relevant to the assigned capability area, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or SSRS.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, or other database management systems.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, ERP platforms, cybersecurity, IT controls, resilience frameworks, or technology risk management.
• Experience with data cleaning, model support, automation use cases, or technical documentation.
