2027 Elevate Program and 2028 Summer Financial Services Consulting Intern (Financial Services)

Location: Chicago, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required.

Compensation: $34–$40 per hour during the internship. Elevate participation is unpaid, with conference-related travel and participation expenses covered.

What you will do

• Support risk consulting and process engagements for financial services clients.
• Attend client meetings and work with client personnel at various management levels.
• Prepare reports on consulting services, present findings, and discuss recommendations with clients.
• Contribute to internal audit, including SOX, regulatory compliance remediation, credit review, and financial reporting control projects.
• Analyze client information and document results using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Complete client projects efficiently according to project timelines and critical dates.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited accounting degree program and working toward a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree.
• At least 90 credit hours completed by the internship.
• Anticipated full-time associate start date of Fall 2029 or Winter 2030.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong multitasking, project management, teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and be able to travel to assigned client locations.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.4 GPA.
• Leadership and involvement in campus or community organizations.
