Financial Services Risk Consulting Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Chicago, United States; requires local and national travel, including overnight travel, 40% of the time.

Compensation: $33–$39 per hour.

What you will do

• Support compliance, risk, controls, financial crime, and consumer compliance testing projects for financial institutions.
• Identify non-compliance with financial laws and regulations and develop actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to internal audits, anti-money laundering reviews, transformations, and regulatory validation projects.
• Prepare accurate work products and communicate testing results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Improve testing techniques and develop expertise in regulatory compliance and financial crime topics.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, and business stakeholders across multiple engagements.

Requirements

• At least 90 completed credit hours.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, statistics, or a related business or technical field.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally 40% of the time, including overnight travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
