Manufacturing Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico

What you will do

• Integrate manufacturing processes transferred from other company locations and coordinate transfers to new manufacturing sites.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for mechanical medical devices.
• Design and implement production fixtures, tools, inspection equipment, process routers, bills of materials, and manufacturing process instructions.
• Plan equipment, labor, space, maintenance, cycle times, production capacity, and project resources.
• Track yield, first-pass yield, efficiency, downtime, and scrap; investigate trends and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in process validation, verification, CPE, and CAPA activities.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, electromechanical, systems engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a related position.
• Experience with problem solving, project management, lean practices, Six Sigma, and line transfers.
• Experience working in ISO- and FDA-supervised environments and with GMP requirements.
• Written and spoken English required.
