Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and direct the operations team, ensuring adequate resources for safety, service levels, cost, and productivity requirements.
• Manage daily production activities and deliver current commitments while improving the value stream.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects and kaizen events focused on expansion and continuous improvement.
• Track daily performance, ensure recovery plans for missed targets, and maintain daily process-center communication.
• Strengthen safety awareness and implement techniques that support a safe working environment.
• Drive Lean initiatives and year-over-year improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are required.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and 3+ years in a leadership position.
• Experience with Lean tools, including 5S, error proofing, standard work, and continuous flow.
• Knowledge of process improvement methods, conflict resolution, planning, delegation, and relationship management.
• Ability to mentor employees and support staff growth and development.
