Investment Technology Business Solutions Lead (AI)

Location: San Mateo, California; Short Hills, New Jersey; or New York City, United States. In-office attendance is required four days per week.

Annual salary: $140,000–$190,000, based on experience and location, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Act as a technology partner to Franklin Equity leadership, investment professionals, operations leaders, and internal technology teams.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions covering performance, holdings, activity, portfolio statistics, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve investment research, portfolio management, and operational workflows through automation and data integration.
• Translate business needs into requirements and coordinate delivery with technology teams and external vendors, including FactSet and Bloomberg.
• Evaluate tools, data sources, and integrations while championing practical AI use cases across investment workflows.
• Lead initiatives from concept through implementation, user adoption, governance, and ongoing enhancement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in investment management, financial services, technology, analytics, or business transformation.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leading initiatives across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms.
• Experience with Python scripting, automation, data integration, APIs, or database tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information technology, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting investment research, portfolio management, investment operations, or front-office reporting.
• Experience with AI and LLM tools, Microsoft Copilot, PowerApps, Git or Bitbucket, Snowflake, REST, FactSet, or Bloomberg.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps, governance models, or scalable reporting frameworks.
• Master’s degree or experience in asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, or capital markets.
