What you will do

• Manage complex Abuse/Molestation Liability claims through coverage review, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution.
• Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage position letters, denials, and releases.
• Investigate claims through communication with claimants, attorneys, insureds, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
• Assess liability and ultimate exposure, negotiate settlements within delegated authority, and support effective claim outcomes.
• Collaborate with defense counsel, Claims, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Actuarial stakeholders on significant exposures and claim trends.
• Report on and attend trials, while participating in mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and related proceedings as needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of casualty claims-handling experience, including significant Abuse/Molestation Liability experience with a primary property and casualty carrier.
• Experience in coverage analysis and claim evaluation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and claim disposition skills.
• College degree required; JD preferred.
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile.
