Houston Technology Consulting Intern - 2027 (AI)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Hybrid work model with in-person work at the local hirify.global office and client sites; interns must be available in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship and may travel locally or out of state.

Salary: $28–$38 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with consulting teams to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business and technology problems.
• Support technology platform transformation, application strategy, cloud infrastructure, and modernization initiatives.
• Analyze, engineer, govern, and visualize data for analytics, machine learning, and AI use cases.
• Contribute to cybersecurity, privacy, technology risk, resilience, and control-related engagements.
• Support technology strategy, enterprise architecture, ERP implementations, documentation, testing, and data migration activities.
• Apply AI-powered productivity tools and research, synthesize, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technology, data, engineering, mathematics, or information systems discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship and be at least 18 years old.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, analytical, teamwork, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency aligned with the assigned capability area, including relevant data, cloud, database, security, ERP, or programming knowledge.
• Ability to apply AI tools to improve work efficiency, analysis, and project delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, QlikView, or SSRS.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft technologies, ERP platforms, cybersecurity, resilience, or IT risk frameworks.
• Experience with databases, data cleaning, model support, reporting, or automation use cases.
