Portfolio Management Director (ServiceNow)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Phoenix, AZ; Farmers Branch, TX; or Lakewood, CO

Base salary: $146,300–$326,040 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop the ServiceNow Product Owner organization.
• Own the enterprise demand intake process, including triage, qualification, scoring, and routing to product lines.
• Maintain a ranked portfolio roadmap with committed and stretch objectives across product lines.
• Resolve prioritization conflicts involving architects, quality engineers, release windows, and competing business sponsors.
• Lead PI planning and increment governance, including preparation, facilitation, dependency mapping, and commitment reporting.
• Chair demand governance forums and represent the portfolio to design authorities, executive committees, CIO stakeholders, and business sponsors.

Requirements

• Extensive product management, portfolio management, or platform product leadership experience in a large enterprise.
• Experience managing Product Owners or Product Managers and leading organizational transitions.
• Working fluency in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, including Demand, Idea, Project and Program, Agile Development, and Application Portfolio Management.
• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, and Employee Experience.
• Experience with enterprise-scale demand intake, governance, and scaled agile delivery, including SAFe or scaled Scrum PI-style planning.

Nice to have

• Financial services or other heavily regulated industry experience.
• Enterprise-scale ServiceNow portfolio or platform roadmap ownership.
• ServiceNow CSA certification; CIS in Strategic Portfolio Management, ITSM, or Discovery is preferred.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Lean Portfolio Management, or Pragmatic certification.
• Experience operating a platform Center of Excellence, managing ServiceNow licensing, or working with delivery partners.
