Portfolio Management Director (ServiceNow Portfolio Management)

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Phoenix, AZ; Farmers Branch, TX; or Lakewood, CO.

Base salary: $146,300–$326,040 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the ServiceNow Product Owner organization, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and organizational transitions.
• Own enterprise Demand Management, including intake, triage, qualification, scoring, routing, and demand-to-epic conversion.
• Maintain a ranked portfolio roadmap across product lines with committed and stretch objectives.
• Resolve prioritization conflicts involving product owners, architects, quality engineers, and release windows.
• Lead PI planning, increment governance, dependency mapping, commitment tracking, and portfolio reporting.
• Chair demand governance forums and represent the portfolio to design authorities, executive committees, CIO leaders, process owners, and business sponsors.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in product management, portfolio management, or platform product leadership in a large enterprise, including leadership of Product Owners or Product Managers.
• Working fluency in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, including Demand, Idea, Project and Program, Agile Development, and Application Portfolio Management.
• Practical knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, and Employee Experience.
• Experience establishing or operating enterprise-scale demand intake and governance processes.
• Experience with SAFe or scaled Scrum and direct ownership of PI-style planning across multiple squads.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable education and experience; typically 8+ years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of management experience.

Nice to have

• Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.
• ServiceNow CSA certification; CIS in Strategic Portfolio Management, ITSM, or Discovery is preferred.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Lean Portfolio Management, or Pragmatic certification.
• Experience running a platform Center of Excellence, managing ServiceNow licenses, or building platform investment business cases.
• Experience with delivery partners under joint client and vendor governance.
