Product Strategy Portfolio Lead (Director)

Location: Hybrid role with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site. Approved locations include Dallas, Newport Beach, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Chicago, New York, and Bellevue, United States.

Base salary: $187,500–$270,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define and own enterprise product strategy, vision, portfolio direction, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Lead, develop, hire, and manage Product Managers across levels and product pods.
• Establish the product management operating model, governance, decision rights, standards, and ways of working.
• Own portfolio prioritization and investment decisions while balancing business value, risk, and capacity.
• Partner with executive leadership to align firm strategy, business priorities, product outcomes, and tradeoff decisions.
• Oversee portfolio performance, product dependencies, discovery and delivery practices, value realization, and risk across regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise product strategy, large product portfolios, and senior Product Management organizations.
• Experience defining operating models, governance structures, and decision frameworks.
• Strong strategic thinking, judgment, portfolio-level decision-making, and executive communication skills.
• Experience working in complex, matrixed, or professional services environments.

Nice to have

• Experience leading AI-, data-, or platform-driven product portfolios.
• Exposure to large-scale digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Experience with global or distributed product organizations.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
