Product Management Operations & Portfolio Initiatives Lead

Location: Hybrid role assigned to the Long Island or New York City office, with remote work 2–3 days per week

Salary: $130,000–$155,000 USD per year; bonus eligible

What you will do

• Support product strategy and execution for current and future product lines.
• Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitive offerings, and product opportunities.
• Evaluate product requirements, prepare return-on-investment analyses, recommend pricing, and establish delivery schedules.
• Coordinate product introductions and go-to-market plans with Marketing, Sales, development, and service delivery teams.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives, monitor progress, manage dependencies, and address delivery risks.
• Support the Vice President of Product, guide the portfolio manager, and provide expertise to less-experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience in product management or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of product management concepts, procedures, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market differentiation.
• Experience evaluating business opportunities, preparing return-on-investment analyses, and developing pricing recommendations.
• Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, coordinate resources and timelines, and deliver results independently.
• Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to guide colleagues, explain difficult information, and build consensus across teams.
