Director, Product Management (Fixed Income)

Location: Hybrid role based in Newark, New Jersey, United States, with regular office attendance as required.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annual plus benefits; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the product lifecycle for US fixed income solutions, including strategy, roadmap development, requirements, releases, and tactical execution.
• Balance short- and long-term priorities across scalability, innovation, and platform security initiatives.
• Research markets and engage clients and prospects to define requirements, identify opportunities, and improve products.
• Evaluate product extensions, new products, retirements, and buy/build/partner decisions using revenue, profit, and market potential.
• Create go-to-market plans, communicate product value, and support sales enablement with cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate with development, business analysis, implementation, service, and quality assurance teams while monitoring product performance, regulatory changes, client satisfaction, and financial outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, scientific, economics, or finance disciplines are preferred.
• 5–7 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years in product management.
• 3–5 years of experience in fixed income and/or capital markets.
• 3–5 years of experience in technology management; fixed income and technology experience may overlap.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking, integrated product management, detailed issue resolution, and measurable business results are required.
