Project Manager, Sports

Location: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, or Riverside, California, United States. Four days per week are based in the office, with flexibility to work elsewhere on Fridays.

Pay range: $120,000–$160,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead one or more sports facility projects from planning through delivery, managing scope, quality, budget, schedule, and staffing.
• Coordinate project teams, vendors, external consultants, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and project management system data.
• Support business development through RFQ, RFP, and interview processes, and assist with negotiating scopes, fees, and agreements.
• Integrate QA/QC procedures and practice standards, resolve issues, and ensure design intent and budget alignment.
• Communicate with clients, provide status updates, support timely decisions, and lead project team collaboration and performance feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or interior design.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 or more years as a project manager.
• Working knowledge of local building and zoning codes.
• Proficiency in Revit, Vantagepoint, Planifi, and Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and sustainable design principles for technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining quality standards.
