Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; Workplace: On-site. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $107,000–$233,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, engineer, and integrate cloud, network, data storage, logging, and auditing infrastructure for the WDP System.
• Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure as Code.
• Design high-availability and disaster recovery solutions to improve platform resilience.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and cost efficiency while implementing monitoring and alerting systems.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement security controls in collaboration with security teams.
• Stay current with cloud provider best practices and mentor junior infrastructure team members.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree for Junior roles; 4–7 years for Journeyman roles; 8+ years for Senior roles.
• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification for Junior/Journeyman roles.
• SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT certification for Senior roles.
• Professional proficiency in English, strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Full-time U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
